I didn't know what to expect when I purchased this item. I was just looking for something a little extra. This was on clearance when I purchased and was only available in an XL. I wear an M so I would say it's true to size. All of the straps are a lightweight elastic making it very comfortable. You may need partner assistance the first time or two to figure out how to put it on.
